Separation Science Slam

Separation Science Slam is a competition for young scientists that will be presented for the first time, at HPLC symposium series, in Milano. The competition is open to everybody working in academia or industry, max 35-year-old. Candidates will apply through a 100-word abstract on their research topic related to liquid chromatography workflow (before, during or after). The project must be based on the presenting scientist's own results.

Among all applications, six finalists will be selected by the Jury, nominated by HPLC2019 Scientific Committee. Selected candidates will receive a notification by April 19th. In order to be eligible, they have to be registered at the Symposium.

Projects will be presented (through a Power Point presentation) by the six finalists in a "Separation Science Slam" session planned on June 18th (6.00 to 7.00 pm). Successful applicants will have just 10 minutes on the Separation Science Slam stage to inform, engage and thrill the audience – and Jury – with the hard-earned results of their liquid chromatography-based research project.

Winners (gold, silver and bronze) will be announced by the Jury at the end of the session.

The reward?
Gold = 2000 €, Silver = 1500 €, Bronze = 500 € (monetary prizes).

At the end of the SLAM Session, Apero will be offered to participants.
